    Before you make an appointment

    Please note that BreastScreen Tasmania can only provide a free breast screening mammogram for women:

    • over the age of 40 years
    • with no breast symptoms, such as a lump, pain or nipple discharge
    • who have not already had a mammogram in the past 12 months.

    If you do not meet these requirements, speak to your doctor about the best option for your needs.

    Group bookings

    To help us accommodate larger groups and ensure the appointments run smoothly, we ask group booking organisers to provide certain information in advance.

    Request an appointment online

    Requesting an appointment online will not confirm an appointment time immediately.

    Online Appointment Requests are processed by our Contact Centre that operates 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

    If you complete the form, BreastScreen Tasmania will contact you within two business days to propose an appointment date and time. If you would prefer to confirm an appointment sooner or to speak to a customer service representative, call us on 13 20 50.
